Match Information

The Civilian Marksmanship Program would like to invite you to join us for a very special celebration of the CMP Talladega Marksmanship Park Dedication and Inaugural Matches in Talladega County, Alabama, June 6-7. The celebration is a two-day event which includes tours of the facility, a special John C. Garand Rifle Match on Saturday commemorating the 71st anniversary of the Allied Forces D-Day landing at Normandy Beach and Service Rifle EIC, Service Pistol EIC and .22 Rimfire Pistol EIC Matches on Sunday.

Planning for the 500 acre CMP Talladega Marksmanship Park began in March 2012 and construction will be completed in May 2015. The primary purpose of the facility is to provide marksmen with a state of the art facility where they can participate in the complete CMP experience, including firearm safety courses, clinics, and a lineup of CMP Games and Match events. The facility includes 100, 200, 300, and 600 yard rifle ranges with electronic scoring targets, 50 yard and 50 foot pistol ranges, 15 action pistol bays, 15 stations of sporting clays and a trap field. The property also includes a 13,000 square foot CMP Park Club House including a CMP store and classroom.

Other events scheduled throughout the weekend for shotgunners and action pistol shooters!
